Stonepeace (836–845)

[836]

If you do not spend enough time
for the Dharma,
you will have to spend more time
in Samsara.

[837]

You do not need to ask
any human if going meatless matters.
You only need to imagine
all animals’ similar answer.

[838]

If not prepared to be
open to constructive criticism,
prepare to be
open to destructive criticism.

[839]

If you do not live a sensible life,
that makes sense of life,
you might live a senseless life,
that is full of nonsense.

[840]

To live a very good life,
be very good to all in your life.
Even if others are not so good in return,
being good is still good.

[841]

If agreeable to the Dharma in theory,
be agreeable to the Dharma in practice.

[842]

To lower moral standards for anyone is
to lower moral standards for yourself.

[843]

Have empathy
instead of vengeance for the vengeful,
as vengeance can karmically rebound.

[844]

The objective is to be objective,
while understanding how
the subjective are subjective.

[845]

There is neither ‘something-ness’
nor ‘nothing-ness’
of all mind and matter;
there is only ‘changing-ness’.
