Super Short Story #374: Mumbling
Seated on the bus, he was irritated
that he could not make out
the mumbling of an old man talking to his wife,
who were seated in front of him.
Then he remembered,
that it was not supposed to be made out by him anyway,
not spoken for him to hear,
only for his wife to understand.
