Super Short Story #425: Gratitude
He was incredibly grateful
to his largely absent boss,
who was not a control freak,
who let him realise his own potential at work,
non-chalantly approving the projects he came up with.
It brought new meaning to the expression –
‘Thanks for nothing!’
Of course, it is not really nothing –
as his boss did pay for his work.
It was just that the boss greatest contribution
was doing nothing else.
