Dusk exploration at the Forbidden Hill (Fort Canning)

As I walked up the stairs to the gate, to look through it, at the reservoir atop the hill, a guard appeared as I snapped, asking ‘Yes?’ I shrugged silently and went back down, wondering this – ‘If it’s forbidden to walk up these stairs, why were they not barred in the first place?’ Anyway, this turned out to be one of the most interesting photos for the visit! With a touch of the mysterious forbidden nature of the hill.
