Lotus Seed

出污泥不染,
莲花莲子生。
出浊世不染,
佛子九品生。

Out of the defiled mud and not tainted,
lotus flowers from lotus seeds are born.
Out of the defiled world and not tainted,
Buddha’s disciples from nine grades of lotuses are born.
