Don’t Mislearn!

Advice to a beginner Dharma class participant: ‘Don’t read books (and see videos) that are likely to misrepresent the Dharma or you might become confused without even knowing you are being confused. As the saying goes, “宁可千年不开悟，不可一日走错路。Rather to, in one thousand years, not awaken, never to, in one day, take the wrong path.” This can be so as following a wrong teaching can lead you astray for a much longer time, making it very hard to find the right path again.’
