Phone ‘Privilege’

PHONE-‘PRIVILEGE’: A self-given ‘right’ imposed upon others, by being mindless about the moving crowd behind. This is the ‘right’ to suddenly slow down or even stand still to use one’s phone, be it for calling, messaging, commenting or executing a complex game move. This ‘right’ is often extended by walking with one’s head lowered during phone-tapping, assuming that the path ahead has absolutely no one, or that the crowd coming from the opposite direction will automatically give way. However, another person might be bumped into, who was obviously exercising the same ‘right’. This is when both realise their ‘right’ to be wrong. Thank goodness they are not driving!
