娑婆苦海无处安，
念佛即生极乐岸。
信愿明确往西方，
弥陀名号为妙舫。

In this Saha World’s sea of suffering is nowhere with peace,
With mindfulness of Buddha is immediate birth 
on the Land Of Ultimate Bliss’ shore.
With Faith and Aspiration clear and definite for rebirth in the West,
[Mindfulness of] Amituofo’s name is the wonderful ship [to ascend].
