Super Short Story #476: Expression

The gloomy and bored-looking girl,
as if remembering a remedy,
suddenly whipped out her phone
to pose and snap a selfie of herself
suddenly cheery and energetic,

before checking to see
if the picture turned out right,
with the previous gloomy look,
alternating her two extreme expressions,
of excitement versus disappointment several time.

The final one chosen selfie then,
cannot be a true picture of her,
while a video of how she took it
would paint a more accurate portrait.
