Live a good honourable life.
Then when you get older and think back,
you’ll be able to enjoy it a second time.

Live a good honourable life.
Then when you get to your future life,
you’ll be able to enjoy it a third time!
The main quote seems to suggest the importance of positive self-reflection (not memory, as memory is often tagged to the past, which is at times negative). However, this is assuming that one has done numerous/countless good/kind deeds to reflect upon, as the first line of the quote suggests.
Thus, I figure the best time to start accumulating good deeds is now, if one have not done so. If one has already been doing good deeds, this quote will motivate one to be more enthusiastic in doing so.
Thank you! 🙂
