The Dharma & Karma Collector

He collects many Dharma books
that are sponsored by others for sharing the Dharma.
But he doesn’t really read them; he just browses and shelves them.

But he might be collecting lots of bad karma too,
by hoarding precious Dharma books
that are meant to spread the Dharma.

This is how the Dharma when ‘abused’ (or under-used)
can become as if ‘anti-Dharma’,
because this ‘creates’ bad karma (when the Dharma meant for the opposite)!

  1. I’m not sure where I can placed my past Buddhist magazines and books… I’ve seen shelves/spots that offer such magazines and books for distribution, which are often over-loaded, or collecting dust…

I understand that magazines/books on Buddhism cannot be sent for recycling purpose… though I wonder if they would have been more “useful”, rather than sitting on the shelves collecting much dust and turning yellow…
    :'(

don’t be mistaken though, I’ve gained much from such free distribution, in fact, I usually gain much more from them, than from books I purchased (duno why, but it’s pretty true) it’s just that, I’ve stopped picking up new readings, as my shelves are pretty full with old ones…

    😥
