He lost track of time
and before he knew it,
Friday was about to be gone.
He wasn’t even aware it was Friday.
He thought it was Thursday.
The case of the missing Friday.
Although it had never happened before,
it made him shudder to think about
how many more bits and pieces of time he unmindfully missed.
