He has a love-hate relationship with Lego bricks.
They allow for flexibility,
for building his own toys,
yet they are also restricted by rigidity,
limited by their numbers, shapes, sizes and colours.
They are building blocks allowing creativity,
but only in a pixelatedly blockish way.
