Waste: Wandering Thought #170

Wandering Thought #170: Waste

Love, even when unrequited, never goes to waste. As long as true, it remains worthy. It feels wasted only when there is regret. But why should there be regret for being true? Then again, if it is really true, it should be unconditional too, never heartbreaking, never ending, even when not reciprocated. Even ‘wasted love’ is never wasted if you realise this about the limits of your love.

[‘Reverse inspired’ by Coldplay’s lyrics from ‘Fix You’: ‘When you love someone but it goes to waste, could it be worse?’]
