Affirmation: Wandering Thought #256

Affirmation: Wandering Thought #256:

To make assumptions is to imagine knowing what one might not know properly, or at all. This includes misconceptions of one’s own faults and virtues. The right assumptions aside, what dangerous about the other ones is taking of the guessed and speculated as truths. Even half-truths that affect how one perceives and deals with people, issues and things can prove foolish and unfair.

With strong assumptions stuck blindly to, there will be strong rejection of truths, as rooted delusions further direct one’s life… for the rest of this life! The opposite of assumption is to seek affirmation, via investigation. It is the only way to align with reality, to be wise and fair to oneself, and the rest of the world – which is reality itself.
