If we assume that god is all powerful..all loving…all knowing. either Satan was useful or he is all powerful.
God has many chances to take him down based on the string of events recorded but he didn’t. For a character that one would want to damn for eternity in fire..why didn’t he if he is all loving…all powerful and all knowing? Its almost like you see a dangerous criminal running around harming others yet you didn’t try to catch him and instead he was in the mood to make a bet over Job.
