自清偈
清者自清，
浊者缘浊。
浊者愿清，
仍可自清。
Verse On Self-Purification
The pure [are] personally [already] pure,
the defiled [are only] conditioned [to be] defiled.
The defiled [if] aspiring [to be] purified,
[are] still able [to] personally [become] pure.
