Razor #3: Hanlon’s Razor

Hanlon’s Razor:

Never attribute to malice that
which can be adequately explained by stupidity.

Thought:

Malice arises from stupidity,
which should be empathised with compassion;
instead of retaliated with malice,
which is just as, if not more stupid.

(In philosophy, a razor is a principle or rule of thumb that allows one to eliminate (‘shave off’) unlikely explanations for a phenomenon, or avoid unnecessary actions.)
