Some Dharma Advice #7
[61]
Perception
Nothing lets you down –
as it is your negative karma
and misperception that do.
[62]
Is
It is as it is;
it is not so good;
it is not so bad.
[63]
Lesson
Thank you,
bad experiences too,
for the good lessons.
[64]
Dharma
The Dharma learnt and practised
will never let you down,
while not learning and practising it,
you will always let yourself down.
[65]
Gratitude
No resentment,
but only gratitude,
to have been helpful,
even to the ungrateful.
[76]
Space & Time
Have no space in the heart
for attachment.
Have not time in the world
for aversion.
[67]
Thankfulness
If yet to be thankful,
even for the unpleasant,
you have yet to learn from it.
[68]
Waste
Have no wasted time.
Have no wasted thoughts.
Have no wasted words.
Have no wasted deeds.
[69]
Resolution
Be not one who
sees no conflicts,
but one with ways
to resolve them.
[70]
Neutrality
Being ‘neutral’
in times of rampant evil
is to passively be in cahoots.
