Seeing how she alternated
between being ‘sincere’ and insincere,
he decided to be
neither sincere nor insincere to her,
by being more of indifferent,
to not waste his emotions…
though he felt somewhat insincere doing so.
Maybe, he thought,
he should just see her as a curiosity,
to be more of sincerely curious over,
than to be unfeeling towards, in a cold way.
