Queue: Super Short Story #714

As the humans
queued for their flesh one by one,
the animals queued for their slaughter.

When there were not enough humans
to queue for their flesh,
they were culled together to save rearing cost.

If there were no humans
queuing for their flesh in the first place,
they would not be bred to be killed.
