A Tit for a Tat (44)
Tit: Why do you do the things you do, that others might misunderstand as insincere and foolish?
Tat: What else can I do, but that with the best of my understanding and sincerity, even if foolish?
Tit: What do you mean?
Tat: All a fool like me can do is to work with my foolishness, to struggle to transform it to understanding, as sincerely as I can.
A Tit for a Tat (45)
Tit: Samsara is disappointing. Such a letdown. Its people especially. Myself included, for letting people down.
Tat: That’s what makes this Samsara.
Tit: What do you mean?
Tat: If Samsara is not disappointing to us, it would be Pureland now, and we would be enlightened already.

Samsara — a training ground to get us fit and able to go to Pureland!
I equate Going to Pureland like the recommended path for all , i.e. to enter University. However, there are also those who choose to go other paths/ unsuccessful to pass the entrance exam, selected other route like Poly or entering the workforce earlier, though may be longer & unconventional, along the way, we still learn & hopefully may also reach the other shore (just like some are not graduates but still make it to be bosses of great enterprises). There may also be cases whereby ITE, Poly students getting Masters & PHD eventually.
So, if you don’t distress, always do your best, gradually bit by bit, build up your good karma, you will also reach the other shore even if you have a slower start than most.

The good news is, you can always try to go Pureland,
even if you ‘fail’ to make it there once, or many times…
because the Buddha always welcomes us.
