Who am I?

‘Who am I?’ ‘I’ am nothing but constant change, yet while our mind and matter change, there is always to unchanging potential to become fully enlightened, perfect in compassion and wisdom.

Well bros Shen & Ray, to me, sometime there seem to be always someone watching behind… the everly body-mind change… NOT SURE about unchanging potential, to become enlightened or fully enlightened & perfect in wisdom & compassion… though! Simile & Cheers freinds~~~

This someone watching is an illusion. It’s simply the mind itself – that changes. This can be seen clearly in meditation. The mind alternates between creating and watching thoughts. If there is no potential to be enlightened, there would be no point in any spiritual practice.

Q: Who am I?

A: ‘I’ am nothing but constant change, yet while our mind and matter change, there is always to unchanging potential to become fully enlightened, perfect in compassion and wisdom, to realise the truth of non-self.

Q: There seems to be always someone watching the ever-changing body and mind. Am not sure about any unchanging potential to become enlightened.

A: This ‘someone’ watching is an illusion. It’s simply the mind itself – that changes. This can be seen clearly in meditation. The mind alternates between creating and watching thoughts. If there is no potential to be enlightened, there would be no point in any spiritual practice.
