Case of Foolishness?

Squeezing some ice,
he screams in pain.
But he only had to let it go
to end the needless pain.

Crystal clear is the case of foolishness above.
So should I stay here to suffer fools (to exhaust my negative karma),
or am I a fool too for staying here (to perpetuate this negative karma),
to suffer needless pain?

I have to be honest with myself,
of how much of the pain is self-induced.
If it is mostly so,
going elsewhere might be just as painful?

  1. The truth will set you free. Only the truth in dharma is aimed at liberating all. From that day onward a servant to none. But a master of oneself that works towards serving all.

  2. No pain no gain. Forbearance needs to be practised at every moment but we do get to see the fruit of our practice after a long, long while. It’s basically living in the dharma.

  3. The Buddha preached about impermanence in all things. This earth whether it is going to be consumed by fire becos it has been willed by an entity or be consumed by impermanence will no more be a pile of cosmic dust floating in the great expanse of the dharmadhatu. We can lock our wealth in this earth, leave a history of legacy or even enter countless rebirths only to re-enter this samsaric playground in hope of meeting our loved ones. But if the earth won’t lasts, would you? The work for humanity must continue. As we find our own place and role in this worldly earth of ours. As we work hard in pursuit of worldly concerns and achievement. If only we can remember compassion, every work that we work for, every worldly concern we are concerned with will be transformed into a legacy of truth and liberation for one and all. The work of Buddhism is not about converting humans only but to transform the six realms into the path of liberation so that no matter when our loved ones end up whether by karma or samsara as an animal, hell being, gods, hungry ghost, human or asuras, compassion is always here to help them reach the other shore.

May all find liberation in amitabha’s pureland and never to fall or regress again.
