As the sun was too bright on her side,
she kept the curtain drawn
throughout the trip.

It never occurred to her
that she could compromise
by stealing occasional peeks at what’s outside.

As such, it also didn’t occur to her
that she missed the trip’s scenery entirely,
missing most of the ‘going on a trip’ itself.
