Stonepeace (191-200)

[191] The ever-compassionate Buddhas and Bodhisattvas
always wish to connect with all beings,
even if we never wish to connect with them.

[192] Do you act from higher moral ground,
or merely speak of higher moral ground?

[193] One who truly treasures life,
treasure not just one’s own,
but every single life.

[194] If you do not believe
in identifying your ignorance
as what it is,
you believe in ignorance.

If you do believe
in identifying your ignorance
as what it is,
you believe in wisdom.

[195] In moral arguments,
true victory is when
you win the rediscovery
of your conscience.

In moral arguments,
true defeat is when
you defend the loss
of your conscience.

[196] Better a hard but worthy life,
than an easy and worthless one.

[197 ] The world is full of all kinds of people,
including those who do not know
that the world is full of all kinds of people.

[198] Striving to be perfect is right.
Trying to look perfect is not.

[199] When you over-focus on the material life is
When you lose focus on the spiritual life.

[200] The path to Buddhahood
is the path of saving oneself
through saving others,
with less and less
differentiation between the two.
