“Hundreds of thousands of baby male chicks are either ground up alive or discarded like trash to die more slowly, piled by the hundreds, even thousands, on top of one another in bins every single day in order to satiate the egg and chicken-meat industry. The majority of male chicks are basically useless to both industries, so they are considered to be “trash”. I can not tell you how hard I’ve cried watching documentary video of countless live baby chicks, freezing to death in garbage bins out in the winter cold. So, which is the more brutal scenario? Is there a more brutal scenario?”

on the realities caused by the consumption of chicken-based products
This is more or less standard practice. We have the power to lessen this – by reducing consumption and thus demand for animal produce. Becoming vegetarian is just half of the picture. Veganism is to go the full mile! Let’s stretch ourselves ethically as far as we can for the welfare of all sentient beings.

The only time such madness will end is when we end the madness in our minds and our stomachs. It has never been in my intention that an animal has to go through hell to feed me. Desires kill and craving only prolong the desire to continue killing.
No god has died for me more than the amount of animals I have eaten in every waking moments of my life. Why should an animal go through hell for me unless this is another one of those intelligent design we speak off.
I lived my life by building it on the deaths of others. That seems to be what the picture is saying? Every minute a human lives, it is a living hell for other living beings. If all lives are equally precious, why should each be treated differently?
