Super Short Story (162): Biography

She thought of writing her biography
until she heard a biographer’s comment
that an autobiography is probably
the most inaccurate version of one’s own life.
Makes sense, unless… she chooses to be brutally honest with herself.

But that would demand brutal honesty about others too.
Even if she can stand being honest with herself,
can others stand her being so about them?
She decided to write a story without the biography label instead,
filled with true stories of real characters with other names.
Some truths have to be told, because of the lessons they offer.
