He gives up playing app games quickly,
when he realises it’s not worth the time.
Maybe he’s a sore loser, a lousy player,

but he would rather this be the case,
than to indulge and win game after game,
to waste more and more time indefinitely.

Sure, there are lessons to learn via games,
like patience, determination, strategising and such
but there more realistic lessons to learn elsewhere too.
Maybe he’s really just a sore loser, a lousy player.
