Advice: Wandering Thought #272

Advice: Wandering Thought #272: Many of us are already surrounded by good advice from good advisors. They can be in the form of good friends, good teachers, good books, good classes…

Yet, despite their presence, we are not necessarily better people, significantly kinder or wiser. This is because we choose to ignore their advice, assuming we do not need them at all.

When this becomes a habit, the good advice from good advisors eventually disappears, not necessarily because others no longer care, but that their presence becomes as good as absence, or worse, a source of irritation.
