Teach Well

A hallmark of good Dharma students is that they correct their teachers immediately when mistakes are found, lest other students get confused. However, students should not have to keep rationalising to themselves and others, for their teachers’ mistakes, because students are supposed to be learners; not editors who always know better. Teachers should thus always teach without mistakes, and correct them immediately when they are pointed out by others or discovered by themselves. This is a hallmark of good Dharma teachers.
