Super Short Story (190): Grenade

Having served his obligatory stint in the army,
it still amazes him how the only live grenade
he had ever thrown in his life
remains the most throwable thing ever.

Its weight, shape and grip
was designed so well for hurling
that he had never and will probably
never throw anything else similar again.

There is dread, however,
that others might find grenades throwable too,
and even delight in the kick of blowing things up,
with possible destructive effects.
