Stonepeace (271-280)

[271] If it is not profoundly meaningful,
it might be a profound waste of time,
something not worth pursuing at all.

[272] Rest is best
when you have
done your best.

[273] Experience bliss without attachment.
Experience pain without aversion.
Experience life with equanimity.

[274] Those who claim perfection
are either perfect fools
or perfectly enlightened.

[275] If you disclaim responsibility,
even for how you feel and act,
you are essentially irresponsible.

[276] Look at the dark side, to see the problems.
Look at the bright side, to see the solutions.
Look at every side, to see it all.

[277] To be truly more carefree,
care less about the non-essential,
and care more about the essential.

[278] The most bitter truth, when swallowed well,
is still sweeter than the sweetest lie,
whose taste will turn bitter.

[279] The truly magnanimous do not forgive –
not because they are not forgiving;
but because they see no need to forgive,
as they bear no grudges in the first place,
even while they right what is wrong.

[280] Without deep experiences in life,
life is just a shallow experience.
