The PostSecret postcard from
‘PostSecret: Confessions on Life, Death and God’ reads:
‘I wanted him so badly that I slept with him,
knowing he was going home to you.
Now that I know he would cheat,
I don’t want him anymore.
I’m sorry.’
Oh the irony yet truthfulness of it all!
I never really understood why people have sexual affairs
because if the married intend to fail in their commitments,
why commit in the first place?
And if their commitments were a mistake,
why not apologise and move on first,
instead of hanging on, breaking promises and lying?
And for the third party…
How can anyone commit to someone
who fails in his commitment to someone else?– Stonepeace
