A Sorta Love Paradox

Tori Amos’ intriguing music video for ‘A Sorta Fairytale’ tells an unconventional love story.
Unfortunately, it’s the kind that might be seen as weird by many (but not me)!
It reminds me of a paradox about love…

We tend to love one another because we feel incomplete in ourselves.
We tend to feel more whole when we love another.
We are however not exactly one another’s ‘other half’ or even ‘part’.
We can be complete in ourselves too.
We tend to realise this only after going through the pursuit of others.
We can ‘complete’ one another though, by helping one another realise this paradox.
