The Other World Can Be Worse
By the karmic law of cause and effect, when facing the horrible, wanting to kill oneself, as this itself is a very great horror, it is unlikely to instantly lead to a less horrible rebirth. If even the most horrible is not eternal, we might as well learn to overcome it now, instead of doing more of the horrible, which would only prolong the horrible.
