Fault: Super Short Story #576

Fault: Super Short Story #576

His fault is that he tries to find faults,
even when there are none,
failing to see virtues obviously there,
by even finding fault with them,
never praising the praiseworthy.

He thought he was virtuous,
with his fault-finding,
failing to see it as lacking in virtue –
by being harmful and not truly helpful,
by being insulting and not sincerely edifying.
