With greed for worldy pleasures
and hatred of worldly pain cyclically,
how can there be transcendence for spiritual bliss?

With clear aspiration for birth in Pure Land,
that transcends the cycle of birth and death,
there is no need to cling to life and fear death.

93:

It is more fortunate to give than to receive
because to receive expends blessings
and to give accumulates blessings.

94:

A way to perfect generosity
is to give away the excess in time,
to those in need in time,
before life ends in time.

95:

The smaller challenge is
to not just follow bad habits,
but to create good ones.

The bigger challenge is
to not just follow good habits,
but to create better ones.
