A position of high power
is possibly more dangerous
as the higher you are,
the harder you might fall,
if you are not mindful,
and have unskilful intentions.
Worldly success can thus be a burden.

106:

A position of lowliness
is possibly more safe
as the lower you are,
the higher you can climb,
if you are diligent,
and have skilful intentions.
Spiritual struggle can thus be a blessing.

107:

You are always free to choose
what to do and not do,
even if with much at stake,
or with little at stake.
Choose well.

108:

Strive to transcend the worldly
to attain the lasting.
Struggle not just for the worldly
to obtain the short-lived.
